WCAG T-shirts

29 shirts about web accessibility, most of them one joke about one success criterion from WCAG Quotes. Each comes on a dark shirt with light ink and on a white shirt with dark ink, and nearly all come with short or long sleeves.

You choose a size and pay at the store, which sets the price, prints the shirt when it is ordered and posts it. The pictures are the store’s mock-ups, not photographs of a printed shirt.

The shirt is the joke

Each of these does the thing its criterion is about.

WCAG T-shirts

This is a shop window. The shirts are grouped by theme, and each group has its own heading.

From top to bottom

  1. At the top, the site header: my name, which goes home, then links to Writing, Work, Signal, Tools and Resume, then Set for you, where you choose the drawings, theme and motion.
  2. The WCAG T-shirts heading, what the shirts are, and how buying one works.
  3. Links to the five themes, so you can jump to one.
  4. The themes, one after another. Each has a heading, a sentence on what it holds, and its shirts in rows.
  5. Each shirt has a black and a white picture that open larger, the criterion it is about, and links to order it with short or long sleeves. Those open the store in a new tab.
  6. At the bottom, the footer: a note on how this site is built, links to Illustrations, Pens and Accessibility, this Describe this page button, then GitHub, LinkedIn and email.
